Single Track
Fire Road
Roller
Switchback
Drop-off
This trail is wide enough to fit a car through.  It can range in difficulty from beginner to advanced depending on the terrain. Also called Jeep roads or carriage roads.
Single track is only wide enough to fit one rider at a time. There is less room for error but can also range in difficulty.
A switchback is a trail that winds back and forth usually with tight turns.
A roller is usually a rock or  hill that a rider can roll down without coming off the ground.  Can be very steep and may  be dangerous if proper technique is not used.
A drop-off is an obstacle that requires the rider to have both wheels off the ground at the same time while preparing to land.  A drop off can be man-made or a natural obstacle.

  Q. Should I wear clipless pedals to a clinic?
  A.  This all depends on the level of experience you have with the pedals.
You should discuss this with Tom before the clinic. It's a good idea to          bring both sets of pedals and shoes if you're not sure.

  Q. How do I pay?
  A. You can pay with cash or a check the day of the event or make an
online payment (found next to the event that you are interested in).

  Q.  What if I don't see something on the schedule that works for me?
  A.  There are a few different options.  You can get three or more friends
to schedule an event of your own at a time that works for you (same            price as a regular scheduled event), you can schedule a private
lesson, or call to find out if your riding ability may allow you to attend
a different level clinic or tour.
